Henry Taylor Heavy Duty Socket Firmer Chisels
These Henry Taylor chisels have a thicker and longer socket than their bevel edge chisels. This gives them added strength and durability which makes them popular with timber framers.
The handle is made from Ash and has a heavy brass hoop. The handles are hard wearing but should you need to change a handle it is easy to do so with the socketed design. Replacement handles can be made or purchased.

Henry Taylor Incannel Firmer Gouges
Henry Taylor standard length carpenters chisels with gouge shaped blades. Incannel gouges are ground on the inside face (as normal) which creates an outside cutting edge. The blades are about about 4" (100mm) long and have stained beech rounded handles with brass ferrules.
