So what on earth is Classic Hand Tools doing selling a range of power tools I hear you cry? Well we've been selling the likes of Saburrtooth and Kutzall carbide burrs for years, and we are regularly asked what power tools we recommend using them with. And in all honesty, we've dodged giving a straight answer as power tools are not really our 'thing'. However we've always been aware of the Proxxon range, and recently at a show we got the opportunity to try out their new cordless range, needless to say we were very impressed. Despite only being 10.8V they packed a punch and felt powerful but not unwieldly in the hand. The first of the two tools we are starting with is the little, long neck angle grinder which is perfect for the Saburrtooth 50mm (2'') carbide discs. The second is the drill which comes with a 3.2mm (1/8'') collet which is perfect for the 1/8'' burrs sold by the likes of Saburrtooth and Kutzall. 

All this and they are made in Europe, so not cheap re-badged goods from further afield that can often be associated with the power tool world!
