All but one of these were made by 'W.Marples'. The other is 'J.Addis' and can be seen in the photo as the handle is not fully seated.

A Stanley 10 1/2'' rabbet plane in original (but tatty) box. This is the era of the lacquered handles, and the more basic adjustable frog which has to be taken apart to be moved. Still a very useful plane.

Brusso Quadrant Hinges HD638 - Nickel Plated
These have remained untouched since they were put in their Larry & Faye Brusso packages, probably 20 years ago.
The Brusso HD-638 quadrant hinge is engineered with a built-in stop that allows a lid to remain open at 95°. The arc is morticed into the side of the box, beneath the leaf. Each leaf measures 1¼" x 1".

Vallorbe® make a bewildering array of files for metalworking and they also make a bewildering array of rasps for woodworking, enough to confuse the average brain (yes, worse than the French in our humble opinion).
