This bronze bodied small scraping plane has been out of production for a good few years at Lie-Nielsen Toolworks.

The iron version is available from Classic Hand Tools.

'This unusual plane is based on the now scarce Stanley No.212.

The almost perpendicular blade makes it ideal for small scraping jobs, producing shavings like the finest lace leaving smooth surfaces with crisp edges.  The blade angle can be adjusted from 75 to 100 degrees, enabling it to be set up just right for the particular wood being worked.'

• Full length 1 3/8'' wide, 1/8" thick blade..
• Cherry wood knob.
• A few very minor surface scratches.
• 5 1/2 by 1 3/4 inches overall.
