A pair of pre-owned flat and curved soled spokeshaves. These Lie-Nielsen spokeshaves are based on a lovely tool that hasn’t been available since Edward Preston and Sons went out of business in the 1930’s.
Lightweight but solid. Redesigned for fine, precise shaping work in all woods.
- The curved sole has a radius of 1 1/2''.
- Each shave is 6 3/4'' long, with a 5/8'' wide sole
- Bronze body and cap with an A2 cryo blade 1 3/8'' wide x 1/8'' thick - hardened to Rockwell 60-62.
- Weight 0.4lbs.
