Measuring the narrow edge of stock with typical rules is a little awkward. Getting the rule parallel to the stock and leaving yourself room to make a tick mark can become quite a juggling act. Working on the face of a piece is usually a little easier, but you can still struggle to jeep the rule parallel to your work. The Woodpeckers Woodworkers Edge Rule wraps around the edge of your stock and giving an accurate scale on both sides. The short side is 9.5mm wide, giving plenty of room to mark stock. The long side reaches 19mm across the face of your workpiece.

This Woodpeckers stuff is very well made indeed. We have been mightily impressed since we started retailing the brand. We weren’t a fan of the colour when we first started but the crispness of the laser etching and the quality of the build in all their products definitely overcomes our colour bias!

This rule is all but new and was bought by us from a tool collection.
