All squared up?

A selection of attractive vintage squares – all in G+ - G++ condition

They probably aren’t super accurate, but they will be good enough for most DIY tasks should you chose to use them. However, cleaning these up (which we haven’t had time to do) will release the beauty of the wood and make the brass glisten like gold.

A little bit of wire wool (medium) some light oil and a small circular scrubbing action will get the dirt and small paints spots off before a wax and polish – one hour of cleaning meditation.

They are lovely things and whilst not a set they are quite close in appearance and will make a nice display of vintage layout tools. They all came from the same joiner’s box in Suffolk, England.
