A new range of layout tools from Ulmia. Ulmia are probably best known for their workbenches and wooden hand planes, but as soon as we picked these up we knew we needed to add them to our ever increasing inventory! This new series is called Alu-Line, and combines aluminium and walnut to give these squares and bevels a feel of quality which is hard to find at this price point.

• Precision milled aluminium stock with a walnut inlay. 
• Steel blade is hardened and blued.
• 360° scale in 1/2 degreee increments.
• Overall length 350mm (14'') when closed. Tongue 330mm. Body 215mm.
• Weighs 430g (nearly 1lb).
• Blade is tightened by a large wingnut and locks firm.
• Made in Germany.

Sliding bevels are ideal for for transferring and marking out any angle. Too big for laying out your dovetails, so really designed for larger carpentry work.
