Ulmia Alu-Line Multifunctional Square

A new range of layout tools from Ulmia. Ulmia are probably best known for their workbenches and wooden hand planes, but as soon as we picked these up we knew we needed to add them to our ever increasing inventory! This new series is called Alu-Line, and combines aluminium and walnut to give these squares and bevels a feel of quality which is hard to find at this price point.

I'm not sure we truly understand all the things this multifunction square (the wonderfully named multifunktionswinkel in German!) can do, but its a well built bit of kit.

• Truly multifunctional - marking gauge, protractor, bevel gauge, try square, miter gauge.
• Precision milled aluminium stock with a walnut inlay. 
• Steel blade is hardened and blued.
• Overall length 335mm (13'') when closed. Tongue/blade 325mm. Body 195mm.
• Weighs 515g (over 1lb).
• Blade is tightened by a large wingnut and locks firm.
• Made in Germany.
