"Sharp by Sean Hellman
An excellent and very informative book, cover’s most items that need to be sharpened.
The book is divided into 2 parts, the first part deals with an introduction to sharpening, how tools cut, the angles of the edge’s of tools and a very interesting part on abrasives, grinding, honing, polishing etc, using Water stones, Oil stones and natural stones and stropping etc, this chapter of the book answered 4 or 5 questions I needed to know.
The second part of the book deals with the sharpening of a whole range of various tools, from Axes right down to Stanley knife’s and scalpel blades.
I’ve have referred to the book on many occasions, and sharpen up various gardening tools over the last couple of weeks since I received the book, tools nice and sharp.
As I said before, this book is full of very useful information, an excellent book.
