"This is an amazingly interesting and informative book. For anybody even vaguely interested in woodland crafts it is a book well worth having. It describes vices used for woodland crafts but emphasises the shaving horse with its many variants. I made the ‘dumb head’ within a few days of purchasing the book. The book itself is well written, clearly laid out and describes precisely what you need to do , or not do. You cannot help feel that the author is knowledgeable and knows what he is telling about. Very highly recommended ……15/10 score!!"
