Product Description
Travishers are designed for shaping and refining Windsor chair seats. This particular version has been developed in collaboration with Peter Tree, one of Britains most respected chair makers. It is crafted from air dried beech and finished with linseed oil.
The thick blade is made from 01 high-carbon steel, which is supplied honed and ready to use out of the box. The blade can be removed easily using the two thumb screws and the mouth can be adjusted so it can take finer shavings.
Reliable, efficient, and refined through real workshop experience, this travisher is an essential addition to any chair maker’s toolkit!
