The Flexcut SlipStrop™ is an economical way for maintaining a tools razor edge. It has been specially moulded to allow for polishing and deburring the hard to reach areas on the inside of V-tools and gouges as well as the outside edge bevel. Either side of the strop can be used.

Each SlipStrop includes a mini-bar of Flexcut Gold polishing compound and detailed instructions.

Flexcut Gold info - Flexcut Gold is an abrasive Crayon Bar made from a blend of waxes and other materials. It is NOT a paste. Like all abrasive crayon bars available for the metal polishing market, Flexcut Gold is moulded into a bar so it can be held firmly in hand and rubbed into the leather on strops, or applied to a rotating buffing wheel / power strop. Flexcut Gold is formulated specifically to meet the needs of woodcarvers looking to polish their blades to the sharpest and finest possible cutting edge. 

As Flexcut Gold sits in storage, whether on the retail shelf, or at home, it can begin to dehydrate depending on the humidity of the environment. Dehydration can harden the bar making it more difficult to rub, however it does not ruin the stropping compound. Simply place the dry bar of compound into a container with a damp towel and the bar will remain fresh and easier to work with. Heating the leather strop, or the bar itself can also be a handy way to soften the compound quickly.
