Pfeil Chip Carving Knives come in a variety of shapes, this one is a Kerb Pfeil also known as Kerbschnittmesser.
The most popular knife made for chip carving (definitely one of our best sellers!). The short pointy blade allows a good grip in the wood.

"I was looking for something with a small blade and since i have already Pheil tools it made sense to try out their knifes. The knife is a nice size in the hand and the finish is good. It doesn’t come what i would consider sharp so after strope it was ready to go. The blade is nice and it holds the edge well. I am pleased and it didn’t break the bank. "
