The chip carving knives are made from high quality steel and are ground and polished ready for use. They have cherry handles whose shape corresponds to the specific use of each knife.
The Abegglen detail knives have 2 cutting edges that enable you to make deep cuts. They are very useful for lettering and ornamental carving. Small octagonal acacia handles with a choice of 3 blade sizes.
The Schaller knives have a crowned blade and are used for carving concave curves and flat surfaces.
The Canard carving knives are for fine chip carving. They have a straight, fine blade.
