Pair of No.12 Hollow & Round by John Moseley & Son [Vintage]
Product Description
A nice pair!
Hollows and rounds were made in matched pairs, thin ones marked No1 and widest ones generally stopped at No.18 (yes, we have seen a No.20 matched pair but that is rare)
No.12's have cutters that are 3/4" wide.
Wedges and irons in very good order.
John Moseley was making planes in Broad Street from 1862-1894 (Source : Goodman, British Planemakers from 1700)
There is very minor damage (doesn’t affect use of the plane) on the inner edge of the mouth (just outside the cutter line) on the round, otherwise Good ++
