This has a lovely blackwood handle with an infused maple head.

It weighs 650g

Overall height of 215mm with a 90mm deep head, 60mm diameter.

Mappa (Netherlands) didn’t really get going as a tool making concern. 2 great hand tool enthusiasts got too busy with life, work and other distractions to build their portfolio of tools (where is that travisher boys??) after a brief but entertaining foray into the UK market 3 or 4 years ago.

We sold our stock of these fine tools so we think they are unavailable for purchase elsewhere. They are similar to the Blue Spruce Toolworks mallets, certainly their equal in looks and performance. The handle is slightly thicker than the BS models.
