Lie-Nielsen No.95 Edge Trimming Plane – Left Hand [Pre-owned]

Product Description

The Lie-Nielsen Edge Trimming plane is based on Stanley's No.95 plane.

This is the left handled version in G++ to Fine condition in original box.

It has a fixed fence that holds the iron at a 90-degree angle against the edge of a board.

For boards up to about ¾" wide, this tool is a very convenient way to get square edges.

The body is cast Manganese Bronze, a hard and durable alloy that gives welcome heft to this small plane. Each tool is carefully polished to a mirror finish. The lever adjustment moves the blade with almost zero backlash, making adjustment positive and exceptionally smooth.

• Body is 5-3/4" long.
• Width of cut is 7/8".
• 1/8" thick A2 Blade hardened to Rockwell 60-62.
