A hand tool, timber, gifts and supplies event for woodworkers and persons of refined taste.

Meet Ian Parker and discover how you can become an accomplished woodworker using hand tools through his soon to be released online courses.

Meet staff from the International Boatbuilding Training College based at Lowestoft. See their replica medieval Norfolk broads Chet boat and be entertained with their steam bending demonstrations and learn about their short and long courses.

Meet Darren Breeze who will be demonstrating woodturning and answering all your questions regarding turning techniques and finishing. He will be joined by Simon Hope to discuss lathes and his own woodturning products.

The event is also supported by Chestnut Finishes (available at the show)

Marvel (and maybe purchase) at the beautiful tables made by Ben from Treecycling or treat yourself (or a loved one that you can't think what to buy for Christmas) a new chopping board for your kitchen.

Simon Clements can introduce you to the skills of woodcarving using Flexcut carving tools.

Radha Sivyer will be demonstrating Arbortech.

Oscar Rush will have some of his bowl carving tools for sale and will be demonstrating bowl carving techniques.

Clive Day will be demonstrating the Tormek wet grinding system and answering any of your questions.

Ryan Saunders is your man for Veritas tools including planes, marking & measuring and sharpening tools.

Alex Primmer will have a choice selection of great tools from Lie Nielsen Toolworks plus sharpening stones and Mag-Bloks for the workshop and kitchen.

Mary has the perfect stocking fillers with her wooden toys including the Da Vinci catapult! These are great projects for parents and grandparents to share with their young children over Christmas.

Andy is selling his lovely pens that he is turning at the show and Joy is on hand to talk with you about woodblock printing and tools.

We will also have a selection of turning blanks (including exotic hardwoods from sustainable sources), lime blocks for carvers and some Oak, Elm, Walnut, Yew, Ash and other boards ranging from 2 - 6 foot tall..

All in all, it will still be a fraction of what we do, so if you want to see anything in particular please ask us to bring it along or visit us ahead of the show to see our full offering.

Teas coffees and snacks available in the hall.

Please take time to enjoy a stroll round Woodbridge or the lovely river walk.  If you are staying for the weekend we believe the Christmas Street Fair is also taking place on Sunday 3rd December in the Thoroughfare.

Travel tips -  Travelling by car - there is a large pay car park at the venue and cheap too! It will get busy from quite early on so be warned. There is another large pay car park by the main shopping area (10 mins walk).

The train station is 2 minutes away from the venue so park and train or just let the train take the strain if you can. This is pretty easy when coming from Ipswich or from the north - that's Halesworth or Lowestoft as far as the local trains are concerned! A tip for car driving North Suffolkers - is to park at the Campsea Ashe train station and tootle in on the train to Woodbridge! (The Duck opposite Campsea Ashe Station is worth checking out we are reliably informed!).
