Perhaps a little self-indulgent, but we also have a few keen gardeners here at CHT. These saws are ideal with their taper ground blades with no set; this reduces the amount of friction and helps prevent binding which reduces the amount of effort required for each pull stroke. Perhaps more importantly, the clean cut will help the tree regenerate quicker. Like all our Japanese saws this cuts on the pull stroke, it also has finer teeth closer to the handle. This combination makes it easy to start but still gives you a powerful stroke.
