Bristol Design Thumb Plane [Pre-owned]

Product Description

A very attractive plane.

• 5” long x 1 ½” wide with a 11/4” wide blade
• Steel sole to gunmetal sides
• Ebony infill
• Brass lever cap and knurled screw

A few blemish marks.

The rear left cheek has been resting against something in a tool box. This has caused some discolouration (see photo) and a few pin prick holes in the metal over maybe 1cm.

Originally, we thought this may be a repair but we are now sure that it is the result of 2 metal items touching over time..
