This is a nice example of the stained beech coffin shaped post war Norris plane.The blade has seen little use and the plane is in G++ condition.

This is from David Charlesworts teaching workshop.
It equates closely to a sweep 3 gouge, so pretty shallow (sweep one being flat & sweep 10 being much like a semi circle).

French Leather Working Knife
A cut above one's usual leatherworkers/bookbinders paring knives this French made tool has a bubinga handle and a brass ferrule. We know it is French as we liberated it from the factory from where it was made. We then forgot about it (and the rest of the stock) until we started our massive sort out this week.
The edge is still sealed.
The curved edge is 50mm long.
