Product Description
This fully functional 1:3-scale version of Veritas' low-angle jack plane is the latest in their line of miniature tools. At 5" long and almost 1" wide, it weighs just over 4 oz, a useful size for fine trimming work. It has a 3/4" wide A2 blade with a 25° bevel angle and a 13° bed angle. The stainless-steel Norris-style adjuster lets you set the blade with precision.
The body is made from investment-cast stainless steel and has a fixed mouth, machined sides and a ground sole; the front knob and rear tote are walnut.
Made in Canada and supplied in a French-fitted embossed leatherette presentation box, it is sure to be appreciated by woodworkers and collectors.

"Lovely little (fully working) tools, thought I'd treat myself as I've just had a big birthday- one of the planes ordered came with a slightly damaged display box, a phone call and a couple of emails resulted in a replacement box shipped from Veritas Canada via Classic Hand Tools- nothing too much trouble for CHT- excellent customer service."
