Handcrafted in Sheffield by Thomas Flinn & Co., Pax saws are made from the finest alloy spring steel, taper ground and breasted for reduced friction and superior control. Each saw is hand-set and sharpened to deliver a clean, efficient cut — without binding.

• Taper Ground & Breasted Blades – Fewer teeth in contact with the wood means less friction and smoother sawing.

• Finely Sharpened by Hand – Precision-set teeth for accuracy and ease of cut.

• Steamed Beech Handles – Comfortable, traditional styling with a warm two-tone gloss finish.

Saw Types & Tooth Patterns:

• Rip Saws – 4½ TPI
  Designed for cutting with the grain – ideal for breaking down boards and long cuts along the wood fibres.

• Hand Saws – 7 or 8 TPI
  Crosscut tooth pattern for clean, accurate cuts across the grain – great for general-purpose work.

• Panel Saws – 10 TPI
  Finer-toothed crosscut saw, perfect for more delicate or accurate crosscutting, especially in thinner stock.
