We highly recommend edge guards to protect yourself and your tools.
The chisel guards are available in 1", 1½" and 2" sizes, these tough leather guards are a snug fit for both the 285 and 286 framing chisels.
The slick guards are available in 60mm and 85mm sizes suitable for the 289 framer's slicks.
