Referencing page 119 of THE STANLEY PLANE by ALVIN SELLENS (The Early American Industries Association 1975) this plane was advertised as being lightweight , easy to use and were listed as being in demand for manual training classes.
Rosewood handle and front knob (in very good condition)
Endwise iron adjustment is accomplished on these planes by operation of a 2 pronged lever mounted behind the cutter and connected to the cutter through a compound leve arrangement. This was a patented device (J A TRAUT & H RICHARDS in 1876).

- 9 inches ling, 2 1/8 inch cutter.
