A very good example of this classic plane.

More often than not, these planes are missing things such as the nicker irons, the slitter cutter, cam rest, short rods and the like which can be irritating to say the least.

No such woriies here as this Stanley 55 Universal Plane is complete including 4 boxes of standard cutters and an instruction booklet.

We see alot of Stanley 45 & 55's at Classic Hand Tools (and have seen hundreds over the years!), and we are very confident in our description of this plane being a very good example of its type.
