EMIR - MADE IN LONDON

This was almost hidden in the depths of a large tool chest and was quite mucky when we released it from its hiding place. We have cleaned away some of the grubbiness which was mainly dirt and shavings and underneath it all is a very nice examle of this plane. The screw stems are near perfect.The brass fittings are original and undamaged. Original wedge and iron. This plane needs a little care and attention by way of cleaning off the paint spots and nourishing the timber with some oil.This plane will look and work great when this cleaning is done (maybe an hours worth of tlc)

These tools are recognized for their robust design, featuring threaded beechwood stems for adjusting the fence to control the width of the rebate.
