These hand forged timber framing slicks with leather guards are made here in Suffolk by Oscar Rush.
Width of 60mm or 2 3/8'' with offset sockets and long turned ash handles - they are real beauties!
Please note each of these tools are forged, ground and handled by hand which makes each of these beautifully functional edge tools unique.
There will be slight variations between each tool which is part of their beauty but the crucial curves and alignment are consistent for each tool.

These tools are made in small batches by artisan blacksmith Oscar Rush.
If you miss out on a batch, please email sales@classichandtools.com and we will advise when the next batch is due (we anticipate 4 batches per annum).
Apart from axes and small hand adzes, Classic Hand Tools have commissioned Oscar to make some other edge tools which will make their appearances later on in 2025.
