The Hock 4 1/2" Straight-Edge Krenov-Style Plane Assemblies are designed for use in wooden planes inspired by the James Krenov style. Available in sizes from 1" to 2", the blades are made from high-carbon steel and are 3/16" thick, offering durability and reducing deflection during use. The assemblies include a chip breaker and cap iron for enhanced performance in fine woodworking projects.

"It’s not the first time I’ve bought Hock plane blades. I have one in an old Stanley 4 1/2 bench plane and love it. They hold a superb edge and the extra thickness reduces vibration on harder woods. I have bought the two size Krenov style blades to make my own Krenov planes. The quality is as ever great and I’m already confident they will work extremely well. "
