Veritas Beading Blades for Combination & Small Plough Planes
All blades are made from PM-V11® tool steel. Blades are made in Canada. These blades are suitable for both the Veritas Small Plough Plane and Veritas Combination Plane.
These blades let you use the small plow plane to create decorative beading on workpieces. The blades are available in 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4" bead diameters. A 1/16" groove is cut on either side of the bead.
Veritas Reeding Blades for Combination Plane
For use with the combination plane only, these PM-V11 steel reeding blades are available in two-, three- and four-reed versions, with 1/8", 3/16" or 1/4" diameter reeds. A 1/16" groove (also known as a quirk) is cut on either side of each reed. Made in Canada.

Veritas Modified Skate Small Plough Plane
From 1 March 2016, Veritas Small Plough Planes will have a modified skate profile allowing the use of beading blades (all three sizes).
The skate on the new version of the plane is much narrower than the original. For anyone wishing to use an older model with the beading cutters, the narrower skate is available to retrofit to the existing plane.
