Product Description
A beautifully made, ready to go straight from the box (no assembly required) Moxon Vice. Made by Matthew Collins Furniture under their brand of 'Edge Toolworks'. Matt runs a successful workshop in Standlake, Oxfordshire which he set up in 1990, and has been a customer of Classic Hand Tools for as long as we can remember! Matt's team use these vices in their workshop and have done so for a while. We spoke earlier this year (2021) and he popped one in the post to us, we were so impressed we asked if he could get them into production for us. Since then they've added a custom made box for shipping to ensure the vice lands on your doorstep in tiptop shape. This box is also super useful to store the vice when not in use.
Simply sit the vice on top of your workbench, and have the front of the back jaw ever so slightly proud with the edge of your workbench, then attach with a couple of holdowns or clamps. With your Moxon Vice in place, you can spin the cast wheels with glee and start working at a more convenient height.
