The Clifton 770 Bull Nose plane is made to the exacting specifications as all the other Clifton planes.
The 770 fulfills the need for a straight-forward bull nose plane enabling the user to plane close to an abutting section of wood and avoiding tear-out.
It is a lightweight plane often used for cutting rebate stop shoulders. The cutting iron fits smoothly onto the machined pad in the body and can be finely adjusted by means of the screw.
This plane has a cutter width of 1 1/8" (29mm) and is made from high quality oil hardened tool steel.
