Product Description

Useful for sshaping and smoothing shallow hollow forms such as bowls, chairseats etc.

Auriou rasps are considered by many fine authorities (peole who actually use them in their work) as the best.

Thsi rasp is 11 inches long plus a 5 inch handle. Stitched on the underside only, it tapers to a tip with a max width of 1 1/2 inches (38mm)

This rasp is slightly different to the standard range (which is 10 inch grain 9). This is slighty longer and is stitched grain 8 (medium).

Crack to brass ferrule, otherwise ready to get shaping with plenty of life left in this tool ans it hasn't done much work as yet.
