Sourced from our mill friends in Yorkshire this is UK kiln dried ash supplied in squares with sealed edges.
There is some spalting which suggest that when worked these ash blanks may reveal some interesting features.
Everyone loves ash because it is a strong wood that is relatively straight forward to turn and that is take stain and finishes well.
Ash is a great wood for handles and other spindle work plus bowls and platters.
