Handlled ironing rasps from Auriou Toolworks, France.

These are for right handers.

10mm wide - grain 12

15mm wide - grain 11

20mm wide- grain 10

25mm wide - grain 9

30mm wide grain 8

The length of the stitched underside is from 60mm - 90mm

Grain means stitch or cut - the higher the number the finer the stitch of the teeth which are applied by the drop if a rasp makers hammer onto a special barley corn shaped pick. Grain 15 is the finest so these range from fine to medium. All highly skilful stuff that the robots have yet to replicate. Auriou rasps are widely considered to be the best in the world. 

This full set of curved soled ironing rasps, all with walnut handles and brass ferrules are for shaping concave surfaces like shallow chair seats, bowls and the like.

All brand new in original packaging.
