The Pax range of saws are made by Thomas Flinn & Co in Sheffield, England. They perform like the 1776 premium range, just don't have all the refinery. So instead of an open Walnut handle, these saws have a closed handle made from steamed Beech with a two-tone gloss finish. They have the same heavy brass back which is folded to give the blade its tension. If you like a heavier saw, then this might well be the one for you.
Packed in individual presentation style card box.
The 8" Dovetail has a 2 1/4" depth of cut whilst the 10" tenons have 2 3/8" depth.

"I was gifted this saw for my birthday and i have to say that i am AMAZED at the feel and quality as well as the smoothness of the saw cut itself..... so impressed that i have used it on my joinery videos for youtube and skool and made a review of the saw for a youtube video with my daughter -out soon on Beowulf Builders.
