In mint condition. This is a commission sale for a perfectly looked after unused plane.

Quite a few of these planes, whether Stanley or Record are in circulation on Ebay and the like, but the buyer must be very wary as often these planes have had a hard life, particularly the vintage planes (the rivets on the sole near the mouth loosen and cracks can develop in the castings).

No such fears here as this quite recent model is in perfect condition.

We have tested the screw adjustment that controls the plane sole movement to the full extent and all is working well.

The plane has been lightly oiled to protect it from moisture (as all planes should be).
