This Lie-Nielsen's smoothing plane has a manganese bronze casting and has a beautifully formed handle and knob. It has the Stanley Bedrock style frog which gives a fully machined mating fit between the frog and body. You can move the frog backwards or forwards, allowing the opening or closing of the plane's mouth without having to remove the lever cap or blade. The blades are a 1/8" thick.

45° frog as standard. Other frogs are available separately.

9-1/2" (241mm) long.
2" (50mm) wide blade. A2 steel.
Bronze body 4 1/2lbs (2kg)

The handles are clean and in good condition.
