Product Description

The Butt Mortice is a simple to use plane that produces precise mortices of uniform depths with sharp, square corners.

The body is cast iron with a bronze blade cap, and the handles are polished cherry. The sole has a long slot that gives a clear view of your work and allows for quick removal of shavings. The plane measures 9 3/4" x 1", with a 3/4" wide blade.
