Product Description

The Lie-Nielsen No.1 Smoothing Plane in iron. This is based on the famous (and somewhat scarce) Stanley No.1. The size makes it more comparable to a block plane than a smoother but nonetheless this small bench plane is suitable for detail work.

  • 5-1/2" (14cm) long
  • Blade is 1-3/16" (3cm) x .110" (2.79mm) thick.
  • Weight is 1.35 lbs. (612 grams)
