On the Knew Concepts Coping Saw the blade is tensioned by a cam-lever and pulls so taut that the blade "sings" when plucked. Chris Schwarz said "...it's more like sawing with an unbendable wire than a floppy steel hotdog (which is what is typical of most saws)". Make turns that are tighter than ever before.
The solid steel indexing blade-hooks lock in eight 45° positions for a full 360° rotation. The hooks are spring loaded to prevent inadvertent rotation. Each hook assembly must be squeezed together to index. When released, the internal spring locks them in position again.
- Machined from 3/16" thick 6061-T6 aluminium. Weighs only 9 ounces.
- Accepts standard 6.5" pinned coping saw blades
- 6-1/2" deep throat
Saws come with 1/2 dozen Pegas Pinned woodworking blades ready to use.

"I have had this coping saw for nearly two months and having used it nearly every day on various projects can say from my recent experience it is an absolute joy to use. Yes, it is expensive, However quality tools do not come cheap and once you have bought this tool and get into using it you will soon forget about the price. As with any quality tool looked after it will last you a life time. The big bonus you get with this tool if you buy it from Classic Hand tools is the quality customer service they provide.
