Interesting Bevel Gear Drill with spirit level [Vintage, SOLD]

Product Description

These bevel gear hand drills are very underrated examples of hand tool ingenuity. Our American friends seem to hold their clever design and functional efficiency in higher regard than user/collectors on this side of the pond (as they do wrenches and other seemingly simple tools).

Fun to use.

Note: there is a spring missing in the jaw mechanism, so clamping is slightly assymetric, but still central. Please see the photographs.

• 5” diameter drive gear and 2” diameter bevel gear.
• Small level. Side handle.
• 18” overall
