Hamlet Bowl Gouge

Product Description

The Hamlet Craft Tools Bowl Gouge is milled from solid round bar. This bowl gouge is created for making the best of turned bowls, for heavy profile cuts or for delicate feather cuts.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

• HCT083 - 3/8'' (10mm) with 14'' handle - 1/2'' Bar Stock

• HCT085 - 5/8'' (16mm) with 16'' handle - 3/4'' Bar Stock
• HCT086 - 3/4'' (20mm) with 16'' handle - 7/8'' Bar Stock
• HCT087 - 1'' (25mm) with 16'' handle - 1'' Bar Stock
• HCT088 - Short Bowl Gouge 3/8'' (10mm) with 10'' handle - 1/2'' Bar Stock

The tool has a Hamlet brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
