In full working order, this heavy-duty shoulder plane is supplied with a new Ray Iles iron as the previous owner has exhausted the original cutter (also supplied)

1 ¼” wide and 8 1/4” long.

An excellent alternative to the current new offerings by Lie Nielsen, Veritas & Clifton.

The mouth has a very slight chip on one edge (1mm x 1mm, this is on the corner) – otherwise it is regular and will function well.

A good percentage of the original nickel plating has worn due to use. This is a good vintage user plane supplied with a new cutter for continued use.
