"These flattening plates are excellent, especially when used with the Shapton ceramic stones. They will also flatten the 120 and 220 grit stones which the more expensive Shapton Diamond Flattening Plate will not. You must keep all of your sharpening stones flat and I believe this is probably the best way to do that."
