Made from solid machined components and weighing a substantial 8 1/2 oz (241 g), this compass has the sturdiness, size and precision needed for workshop use.

The point rotates on an eccentric axis, letting you adjust the radius by simply turning the point carrier. This means you can fine-tune the size of your circle without having to reset the 8" (203 mm) legs, which open to 8 3/4" (222 mm) and lock at any position with a brass knob and clamping bar. Brass thumbscrews hold the point carrier and a pencil firmly.
