Lightweight with a beautifully forged short fishtail shape, this gouge, designed by renowned carver Chris Pye, is a lovely example of how hand forged tools, made in a traditional manner possess a delicacy that few manufacturers can match.
Here is the full list of these 7 little beauties which have octagonal ash handles with tapered brass ferrules. Unfortunately, since these gouges have now been discontinued, the only remaining gouge is the #9-6mm.
