Age Restricted Items
Please note that items such as carving knives, axes and the like carry an age restriction of 18+. By placing your order, you are confirming you are over the age of 18 years. If your order contains a restricted item we will verify your age before despatching your order. This may involve us contacting you for proof of age.
All UK mainland orders over £60 inc VAT are currently being shipped FREE!! Orders under £60 to UK mainland will be charged £4.50 inc VAT.

Orders to be delivered overseas will not display a carriage charge when placing an order online. When we receive the order it will go on hold, a delivery cost will be worked out and we will then contact you with the total cost and ask if you wish to go ahead with the order.
Classic Hand Tools frequently receive orders from France, Scandinavia, The USA, Australia, Hong Kong, The Netherlands, Eire & Italy. Our customers consider our shipping costs to be most reasonable.
Eire and the Channel Islands will be treated in the same way as overseas deliveries. We will place the order on hold and contact you with details of the total cost including shipping. We do not make a profit on shipping charges hence we want to ensure you receive the right charge depending on your order. In most instances this does not slow things down.VAT

Once your payment is cleared we will send your tools right away. UK delivery is usually 48 hours whilst USA delivery is usually within 7 days.

Please do not return anything to us without making contact because we will normally supply a returns label with postage (if the item is faulty). If the goods are proven to be faulty then we will offer a replacement or refund and arrange for their return.Cancellations
If you change your mind and wish to cancel your order please contact us. Officially we request you make contact with us within 14 days of receipt of goods, however things like Christmas can get in the way so we extend this to the end of January for purchases made during November and December. For cancellations we request the items are returned to us in unused condition (including packaging if possible). We do not cover the cost of the return (unless the goods are faulty). Upon receipt of the returned goods we will refund you the cost of the product plus standard delivery (if this was applicable). If you chose a more expensive delivery option (e.g next day delivery or overseas delivery), you will be refunded the standard delivery charge that would have applied to your order.
