Product Reference: MOR220
Whilst this looks like a traditional drawknife, this is actually sold as a wood splitting knife. The idea being that you take your larger chunks of wood and split them into smaller pieces of kindling that are easier to light.
It is double bevelled (has a bevel either side like a kitchen knife), whereas drawknives are single bevelled. However you can still use this for other purposes than just splitting kindling. One of its other popular uses is in green woodworking (especially Kuksa making). One very sensible idea is to attach a little eyelet to the end of the handle and put a hook on your bench, essentially giving you a small clogmakers knife. This will leave you with a spare hand to hold your work whilst the other end of your knife is anchored to a worktop.
It has a stainless steel blade and a double handle made of birch wood, making it effective and simple to work with.
Made in Sweden.
